Built-in ceramic cooktops and induction cooktops are the main products Bamo focuses on as BAMO involved in this industry since 2016.
And why the price of induction&ceramic cooktop is different from one factory to another tough the technology almost the same, here we conclude some points.

*Regarding the induction cooktop:

1. Copper coil or aluminum coil plate they use.  Aluminum is much cheaper than the copper coil plate and the working power of the Alu. coil plate will be declined after 2 or 3-year use (that is: it states the power of 3000W, but it actually works at just 2800W). The copper coil is mainly used for commercial induction cooktops, and almost all the portable induction cooktops use the aluminum coil plate due to the not-that-strict requirement for working conditions. If there is no special request, usually the factory will quote you based on Alu. coil plate.

2. The power and diameter of each coil plate will cause the cost difference. Like a 3000W induction generator with a diameter of 280mm is about 3.5USD expensive than the burner of 2000W with just Φ180mm.
3. Using the technology of half-bridge (two or three IGBT) if you want to melt the chocolate or cheese at continuous working power of 100W-300W, not intermittent heating.
4. Flex zone control by bridge technology, by using a square or a rectangle coil plate for heating.

5. Real Free zone working by many small round or oval individual induction modules. – Only a few factories in China can do a real zone induction cooktop.

*Regarding the ceramic cooktop:

1. Double ring burner of 1000W/2200W is about 2USD expensive than the single ring burner of 1800W.
2. Mechanical burner (with a glass bar crossing the burner) is expensive -almost twice expensive as the electric burner, but it does have advantages, like long-life use to over 10 years, and low noise.

-Other costs may differ in using transparent glass, Eurokere&Schott glass, or EGO burner.
However, the main reason is that the certain rate of margin factory asks, this causes the biggest difference. Especially for the big factory normally ask a 30% gross margin to cover their expense of running the huge factory, while some smaller factories may just ask 20% or even low to 15% margin.
